CENTRAL SAINT MARTINS FASHION EXHIBITION 2009

CONCEPT, DESIGN, REALISATION OF THE CSM WOMEN’S WEAR EXHBITION

Concept and design for the Central Saint Martins Women’s Wear static exhibition 2009:
garments, portfolio, inspiration, accessories of 48 fashion
students within a tight budget and a very restricted space.
Until now, out of spacial reasons, only ten students could exhibit their garments.
In collaboration with Louise Naunton Morgan, Mari Stolan and Stine Gromark we created a grid system
and signage to exhibit the work of each individual student in the most effective way, so that all 48 students
could present a garment.

The space was separated into two areas, one, where the garments hung from the ceiling and students could show their accessories. In a second area we installed a portfolio library.
Each student had an individual number between 1-48.
With each garment visitors found custom made business cards with the student’s number, name and contact details. If they wanted to see the student’s portfolio they could take one number card to the library and a librarian
would give it to them.
