Commercial work / This campaign is designed to capitalise on increased consumer spending and traffic in the lead up to Mother’s Day and to offer adidas products as a fresh alternative to traditional and predictable Mother’s Day gift items. With this campaign concept the fact that adidas is not an obvious fit for Mother’s Day was turned into a positive by celebrating adidas gifts as a fresh and original option. By dismissing clichéd gifts like flowers, this adidas Mother’s Day campaign is subversive and achieves cut through on the high street.
