CONCEPT AND DESIGN OF STORE COMMUNICATIONS

Commercial work / This campaign is designed to capitalise on increased consumer spending and traffic in the lead up to Mother’s Day and to offer adidas products as a fresh alternative to traditional and predictable Mother’s Day gift items. With this campaign concept the fact that adidas is not an obvious fit for Mother’s Day was turned into a positive by celebrating adidas gifts as a fresh and original option. By dismissing clichéd gifts like flowers, this adidas Mother’s Day campaign is subversive and achieves cut through on the high street.

The product talkers are designed to highlight suitable products that work as Mother’s Day gifts.
The hangtags consist of two separate parts. The flower on its own works as a Mother’s Day gift card.

MAGAZINE COVER, BAGS, GIFT CARD, WRAPPING PAPER, GIFT BOX, LETTERHEAD

Commercial work / Concept and design of two ranges of bags, a gift card, gift card holder, envelope, a gift box and wrapping paper. One range of the bags is made from non-woven fabric with white screen print and the second one is a paper bag range.

PRODUCT STORIES

Commercial work / Design of DIN A4 product story communications. The look and feel was designed in line with the Women’s Store identity incorporating the pattern, primary, secondary and tertiary font styles as well as the turquoise colour, dedicated to product stories. The graphic tool allows copy to be placed on any type of imagery.

COMMUNITY BOARD AND DIGITAL COMMUNITY

Commercial work / For the adidas Women’s Store a concept for an online community including communications transferred by Bluetooth and an iPhone application were suggested and a Community Board was designed, which introduces specialist staff members, communicates events happening in and outside the store like running clubs, workshops or free yoga classes, special offers for club members and further opportunities for customers to join in.

Responsibilities: Concept development and design of visuals, board layout and templates

The Community Board is installed in store.

Tear-off strips with information about the event can be torn off and taken home by customers.
Optionally communications can be displayed on the clipboard designed for the Women’s Store which can be placed at various locations in-store.

WEBSITE DESIGN

Charity / The Nduna Foundation focuses its efforts and investments in conflict and post-conflict countries in Africa, working to improve nutrition and food security; supporting those who work diligently to treat and eliminate pediatric HIV/AIDS; advancing all efforts to secure universal human rights; supporting conservation and wildlife restoration efforts in the US and in Africa; and encouraging and empowering others. It’s founder,  Amy Robbins recently received Unicef’s Audrey Hepburn Humanitarian Award for her support and transformative leadership in countries such as Niger, Ethiopia, South Sudan and Darfur, Somalia and Zimbabwe.

FACEBOOK APPLICATION FOR DERMALOGICA

Commercial work / For the launch of the new range of Dermalogica products for teenagers -Clean Start- we developed a Facebook application in the form of a test that asks the user a series of questions such as ‘Do you like gossip clean or dirty?’and then works out how Clean or Dirty you are. At the end of the test users are rewarded with a money off voucher and receive a virtual badge showing which tribe they belong to. They can publish their badge to their Facebook profile and invite their friends to do the test, too.

WEBSITE AND E-MAIL DESIGNS

Commercial work / Involvement in creating the look and feel of the Virgin Mobile Quatar website and design of various pages and e-mails. Qtel’s Virgin Mobile Service is the result of a brand partnership between the Virgin Group and the Qtel Group.

IDEAS AND SKETCHES FOR MANNEQUINS

Commercial work / Development of ideas for adidas mannequins to give them a different look and feel of anatomic and muscular strength, sport, fluidity, power and energy by creating vinyls or other simple add-ons.
